Project approvals and project states follow a configurable workflow of activities. Users must complete a checklist of activities before a project can advance to its next state. When the project advances it is assigned to the next user in the workflow chain and so shows up on their dashboard for action.
User defined activities can be created and assigned to people at any stage of the project life-cycle.
